A CDN (content delivery network) keeps copies of your site's static files on servers in many places. When someone opens your site, those files come from a server near them instead of from your hosting, so they arrive sooner.
MariCDN is a CDN made for WordPress. Our plugin points your images, stylesheets, scripts and fonts at your CDN hostname. Your pages, logins and checkout still run on your own hosting, exactly as before.

Do I need WordPress?
Our plugin makes setup easy on WordPress. MariCDN also works with other sites, as long as you can load your static files from your CDN hostname.
Which files does MariCDN deliver?
Images, stylesheets, scripts and fonts from wp-content and wp-includes. PHP files are never served from the CDN, and your pages still come from your own hosting.
Will it work with my caching plugin?
Yes. The plugin only changes the addresses of your static files, so it works alongside page caching plugins.
What happens if I use up my bandwidth?
Each plan has a monthly bandwidth limit. When it's used up, the CDN stops delivering files until your allowance resets on the 1st of the month. On WordPress with the MariCDN plugin 2.0 or later, your website keeps working: it serves its own files until the 1st, or until you upgrade. Choose a plan with some room to spare, or upgrade any time from your account.
